Credits and PicText Pro
How trying the app and subscribing to it work, in plain words. There is no account and no sign up: everything runs through your Apple ID.
One credit to try it
PicText comes with one credit, given once, so you can try it before you decide. It spends on whichever tool you choose:
- Extract Text: one picture read.
- Translate: one picture translated.
- AI Commands: one answer.
- PDF to Text: one PDF read, however many pages you picked.
- PDF Scanner: one document created, however many pages are in it.
In PDF to Text, Enhance costs one more credit for the page you use it on, and only when you ask for it. That page is never charged again.
Nothing is spent when a result fails, comes back empty, or you cancel it. The credit is given once: it is not refilled, it does not come back each day, and removing and installing the app again does not give another.
PicText Pro
Pro unlocks every tool, without limits: Extract Text, Translate, AI Commands, PDF to Text with Enhance on any page, and the PDF Scanner.
- Weekly, for a short piece of work or an occasional need.
- Yearly, the better value if you use the app regularly. The app shows how much it saves against the weekly plan.
Prices are shown in your own currency inside the app, before you buy anything. Pro starts the moment you subscribe; there is no trial period.
What never costs another credit
A result you have already paid for is yours. Copying it, editing it, sharing it, having it read out loud, using the details found on the page, saving it in any of the formats the app offers, and opening it again later all cost nothing more.
Billing and renewal
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within 24 hours of that moment. Apple handles the payment, and PicText never sees your card.
Manage, cancel or restore
- Manage or cancel: in the app, Settings, then Manage subscription, which opens your Apple account page. You can also open the Settings app on your phone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then PicText. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays active until the period you paid for ends.
- Restore: on a new phone, or after installing the app again, tap Restore purchases in Settings or on the Pro screen, signed in with the same Apple ID.
Refunds
Apple takes the payment, so Apple handles refunds. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase.
